Part of the Sacred Heart Series, this piece was inspired by the ornate iron doors & fences that line the historic neighborhoods of Tucson.
While living in the desert, I became fascinated with the repeating curves & symmetry found in old ironwork. Many of these designs resemble the shape of the sacred heart — a symbol of devotion, resilience, & deep love.
This hand chain carries that inspiration. At the center rests a handcrafted sterling silver Sacred Heart motif set with a soft pink cubic zirconia. Ethiopian opals are scattered along the chain like tiny desert suns, adding warmth & movement to the design.
It’s delicate, luminous, & quietly symbolic. A small talisman for the wrist.
